So a quick update:
On Tuesday morning we had class and I ate lunch in the dorm (since I went shopping for groceries Monday night and I actually have some food.) Tuesday afternoon a group of us went to Münchter Platz, a place that was used as a prison and a sight for Nazi executions.
It was a bit creepy walking around the old courtyard where thousands of people were guillotined.
And then seeing the "death row cells" where the prisoners spent there final hours before there death.
The whole experience was chilling, and there was an eerie sense of calmness that enveloped us (or at least me) while we were there.
That night we decided to have a girls night. So Elaina, Becca, Sammi and I decided to go to an American Burger joint in the Neustadt called The Devil's Kitchen. The menu was in English (Thank God) but they did serve a kangaroo burger...
The portions were huge and the burgers came out on plate that were like a piece of art!
I got the mushroom and swiss burger (no kangaroo meat for me). It was delicious. After that, we walked to a grocery store and pcked up some dessert. I got a swiss chocolate cream dessert... it was divine!

Today we had class like usual. After class I took a nice nap... and then freaked out when I found a spider in my room. I hired Elaina to take it out, but it escaped! Later when I was packing my clothes for Berlin, the little bugger (haha) climbed out from my jeans and I smooshed it. Die Spinne begegnet seinem Schöpfer!
After that, the girls went for supper at a pub with Francesca. We found out that she is leaving in a week for Columbus. She will be there until Oktober. The rest of my night was me getting ready for Berlin and doing nothing.
